Workin’ Thursday
Today the crew started out early. Around 0630hrs a first alarm assignment on Spangler Rd in Camp Hill was struck. Engine 2, the Squad, Camp Hill and other units responded for a report of fire in an air duct. Crews were on the scene for over an hour cutting apart the air duct and gaining access to the fire and then completing overhaul.
A little more than an hour after clearing the first incident, the Air unit was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment for a house fire in Hampden Township. Engine 3 was dispatched to transfer to Co. 33’s quarters (New Kingstown). While Co. 33 was on the scene of the 2 alarm house fire in Hampden Twp. the crew was on stand-by for several hours. Engine 3 did not take in any additional alarms while they were covering. Thanks for the invite!
