RIT Escape
August 21st, 2008 by Commissioner
Wednesday night’s Company training consisted of RIT exercises. For the third Wednesday in a row members practiced more exercises focusing on Firefighter Survival. This week members were blindfolded as they followed a hoseline through the station while going over, under, around, and through obstacles. The last of these was the most entertaining.
While following the hoseline, FF’s found their way into a confined space.
This confined space was to simulate a building collapse.
The only way out of the collapse is to force their way through a wall.
