Overnight Job

July 9th, 2009 by Commissioner

Shortly after 1130pm Wednesday night the WSBF was alerted to a possible house fire to the rear of 410 Hummel Avenue in Lemoyne.  Chief 1-13 (Beasley) arrived first confirming a working house fire.  The Squad was the first apparatus on scene.  Handlines were placed in service and a quick knock was made on the fire.  Crews remained on the scene for over an hour to complete extensive overhaul of the exterior and roof of the house. Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents.
