Fatal Fire Just before 7am Company 13 along with mutual aid units were sent to Lemoyne Borough for a house fire

Reports of entrapment were confirmed and the box was upgraded to a 2nd Alarm. Fire was venting from the rear second floor of a duplex. There was no interior access to the second floor apartment. Crews tried to initially make entry from the rear entrance, but found that the rear deck had burned through and was compromised. Members then entered through the front windows performing a VES. The victim was located and removed by a member of The West Shore Bureau of Fire and a member of Harrisburg Bureau of Fire and placed in the care of EMS. Unfortunately the victim did not survive.
