Saturday September 12th, the WSBF attended the Cumberland County Fireman’s Convention hosted by the Cumberland Valley Hose Fire Company in Shippensburg. Every year the Convention includes a parade, each piece of apparatus goes through a judging area prior to the start of the parade. A big thank you to the members who worked hard Friday night to clean the apparatus for the event.  Engine 2 and Engine 3 attended and each brought home a trophy.  Engine 2-13 won first place for Best Appearing/Most Functional Engine built 2004 to 2008.  Engine 3-13 won second place for Best Appearing/Most Functional Engine built prior to 1993.  While these two pieces of apparatus were at the Convention other members covered the Squad and Engine 1 for calls in our first due.
