Entrapment on Market St.

Tuesday November 25th at 1500 hrs. Engine 3 and the Squad were dispatched to Market St. at Miller St. for a crash with entrapment. The Duty Chief (Lt. Anderson) arrived on scene first to find a vehicle on it’s side with one patient entrapped and a second vehicle with the patient self extricated. The Squad arrived on scene next, stabilized the vehicles and started working on extrication of the patient. Engine 3 assisted with extrication through the windshield of the overturned SUV. Units were on the scene for 45 minutes. EMS from BLS Co. 85 and 14 along with Medics 85 and 81 responded and provided patient care. Thanks to everyone on the scene for a job well done.
