Crash with Entrapment in Camp Hill

Saturday February 12th around noon, Squad 13 and the Camp Hill Fire Dept. (Co. 14) were dispatched to Camp Hill in the area of 32nd St. and Chestnut St. for an auto accident with entrapment. Chief 14 arrived, advised it was at 31st and Chestnut and confirmed entrapment. The Squad was next to arrive. Crews from the Squad and Rescue 14 stabilized the vehicle and cut the roof to gain access to the patient. Crews were on the scene for close to an hour.

Struts and cribbing are used to stabilize the vehicle.

The vehicle is stabilized, the crews can now work on cutting it apart.
