Crash with Entrapment

April 28th, 2010 by Commissioner

Today around 330am the WSBF was dispatched for an auto accident with entrapment involving a car into the woods on the Taylor Bridge Bypass. While responding units were advised the caller was involved in the accident and they were uncertain of their exact location. It took 8 minutes to locate the vehicle down a steep embankment in the woods at the Erford Road Exit in East Pennsboro Township.  Crews extricated both patients from the vehicle in under 20 minutes.  Both were flown by aero-medical to a local trauma center. Crews remained on scene for several hours to assist the police department with their investigation.
