Wednesday January 7th the Squad was dispatched to transfer to York County Station 64 (Dillsburg) around 1210 hrs.  While enroute the Squad was requested to the scene of a 3 alarm house fire on Ore Bank Road in Carroll Township.  First due units were originally called to the scene around 1120 hrs. that morning.  The Squad crew assisted with exterior operations on a defensive attack for two and a half hours.  First arriving units efforts were hindered by the lack of accessible water in the area.  There was a large pond on the property however the ground was too soft for fire apparatus to access the water and there are no hydrants in the area.  Multiple Tankers were needed to shuttle water to the scene.
