Bicyclist Struck

On Sunday June 28, the West Shore Bureau of Fire was dispatched to the area of Market St and Elm St for a bicyclist struck. Units arrived on scene and assisted EMS with patient care and packaging.

Tree down on the Bypass

Saturday June 27, the West Shore Bureau of Fire was dispatched to the area of the Harvey Taylor Bridge Bypass and N. 2nd St for a tree down across the roadway. After units were responding we were notified that the tree struck a passing motorist and they were uninjured. Engine 113 and Utility 113 handled the tree removal with the help of Penn-Dot, and Co 14 fire police.

Crash on Lowther Street

Thursday June 25 the West Shore Bureau of Fire was dispatched to a multi-vehicle accident in the area of 500 Block of Lowther St. Units arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles blocking traffic and minor injuries. Units assisted EMS with patient care and controlled hazards
