Kitchen Fire in LA Twp.

Today just before noon the first alarm was struck in box 12-03 for a kitchen fire on Carlisle Road. Squad 13 arrived first on scene, immediately followed by Truck 12, with smoke showing from the front of a single family residence. Crews stretched 1 hand line in to the residence to find the fire was extinguished. Crews performed extensive overhaul of the kitchen area and ventilated the residence. Units cleared the scene in just under an hour.

House Fire in Beacon Hill

This afternoon the Squad, Engine and Air responded to a 2 alarm house fire on Creek Vista Drive in the Beacon Hill area of Lower Allen Township. The Squad responded as part of the first alarm assignment, the Engine and Air responded on the second alarm assignment. 1 resident was flown from the scene with severe burns. The WSBF would like to thank Co. 33 and Dauphin County Co. 55 for covering our first due and helping with getting our equipment back in service after the incident.
