2010 Kicks Off with a Job

Around 10am on the first of January the WSBF was alerted to New Cumberland for a Garage Fire. The Squad was the first apparatus on the scene and pulled a 3″ handline to make the initial attack on a well involved attached garage. Additional handlines were pulled to advance into the garage to extinguish the fire and also to protect the 2 story residence. The residence suffered heavy smoke damage. Second alarm was struck due to the possibility of the fire spreading into the residence. Excellent stop by those working on the scene.
